1962 Tama Kagaku Kogyo Co., Ltd. founded in Kita Ward, Tokyo by founder Kihachi Tamai
1964 Factory relocated to Yanaginomiya, Yashio City, Saitama
1968 Yashio Plant (Plant No. 1) constructed at present location in Shinmachi, Yashio City
1970 Yashio Plant Phase 2 construction completed (Plant No. 2)
head office relocated from Yanaginomiya to present location; plant relocation completed
1976 Yashio Plants No. 3 and No. 4 constructed and commissioned
1980 Tokuyama Plant (Plant No. 1) constructed in Tokuyama City (now Shunan City), Yamaguchi
1988 Yashio Plant No. 3 rebuilt as a five-story facility; pharmaceutical intermediate production capacity expanded
1989 Tokuyama Plant pharmaceutical intermediate facility completed (Plant No. 2)
